Quality in the embryology lab is mostly habits. We make the habits easy.
Embryologics is an initiative of Medical Interventions, Hyderabad, run by practising clinical embryologists.
What we do
Three things, all free:
- Tools for IVF labs — a monthly KPI workup with a lab score, daily QC logs, and soon CAPA and SOP builders. Plain sheets a lab can adopt this week.
- A troubleshooting library for embryologists — problem-first guides and a manufacturer-neutral registry of media, equipment and techniques, kept current.
- Plain-language embryology for patients — printable pages clinics can hand out, in English, Telugu and Hindi.
How we think about it
Every accreditation, every audit, every good outcome rests on the same unglamorous things: measuring, checking, writing down, fixing. Most labs know this and most labs are too busy. So we build the smallest useful version of each habit and give it away. Labs that want to go further — an assessment, or help building a full quality system — can ask. Most won't need to, and that's fine.
Three promises
- No patient data, ever. Our tools use case codes. We only see numbers.
- Clinics stay anonymous. We never name the labs we work with or the labs that use our tools.
- Neutral. We don't sell products, take commissions or endorse manufacturers. Registry pages summarise and link to official information; the IFU always wins.
Who reviews the content
All clinical content is reviewed by a certified clinical embryologist before publication and marked as such on the page. Pages awaiting review say so.
