Time-lapse incubation systems
Incubators with built-in imaging so embryos are assessed without removal, usually with single-step medium.
What it is and how it's used
Removes handling and time-out variables; culture outcomes then reflect the incubator environment and medium/oil closely. Provides objective timing data for troubleshooting.

- Slide/dish preparation errors (drop volume, overlay, equilibration).
- Software or camera faults leading to unnecessary removals.
